Reviews & Comments

This is a small selection of reviews by some of our guests...

Anne & Eric, what can we say – you are exceptional hosts. Nothing is ever a problem. We loved our nightly BBQ’s and games of badminton and games of rounders. This is a great place to explore the D-Day beaches, Mont St. Michel, Falaise etc. Lovely to come home to a peaceful place in the country. We will most certainly recommend Bon Courage to everyone in New Zealand!
Thank you so much.

Thank you for a lovely week. We have enjoyed cycling the quiet lanes and dips in the pool. Thank you your warm welcome and your willingness to help in any way possible...

We have had a great week despite the variable weather. Seen lots of sights, including the Mont St.Michel & the Memorial Museum in Caen – both highly recommended. The kids have even had time to use the pool, to great effect.
All in all, a very relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings and beautiful countryside, with a comfortable gite to come back to every day.
Thanks to Anne & Eric from all of us.

To everyone who stays here – BEWARE!! But beware only of enjoying yourself too much! Eric and Anne are the most hospitable people for whom nothing seems too much trouble. This has been like a home from home for us (2 adults + 1 seven year girl) and left us wishing we could stay for longer!

Hello Eric & Anne,
A short note to thank you so much for going the extra mile to make our stay so fulfilling & memorable. We really enjoyed the dairyfarm visit & thanks to you we could experience that. We really enjoyed the majesty of Monet's garden especially the lilly pond. What an inspiration.
The B & B at Naours was a huge experience & thanks for your input making it all happen. Tea was an event with all 28 of us occupying a huge table. Our host was laid back but efficient & although we couldnt communicate well established a good raport especially as they were also dairy farmers & became "The Cool Farmer"!! Luckily a couple at tea could interperate It was a 3 hour event. It was great to have a real French experience in a true farming village.Had some good days doing the WW1 experience.
We left France with some wonderful memories not the least of which are of yourselves. Many thanks for your friendship & assistance, we thoroughly enjoyed your company.
Have just watched The Longest Day & means a lot more having visited.
All the very best
