Welcome to Bon Courage

Bon Courage is a beautifully restored old farm building with a wealth of beams and rustic charm. It stands in 2 acres of private grounds, laid mainly to lawn, including an orchard, play area and gardens for the use of our guests. In short: The perfect place for a relaxing holiday in beautiful Normandy!

The indoor swimming pool is heated by solar panels and open from mid May to September. Adjacent to it is a shower and w.c. Sun loungers are provided for your comfort and relaxation. There also is a communal barbecue area and boules court.

The house is divided into four self contained units, which are each comfortably furnished and equipped with electric cookers, microwaves, all new fridges, sink units, kettles, coffee machines, new crockery and cutlery, glasses, pans, casseroles and cooking utensils.
Bed linen and towels are available for hire and should be requested at time of booking.
Limited WiFi available upon request, at a small charge.

The following three units, which can be rented individually or together in any combination are: SNOWDROP, PRIMROSE and HYACINTH, whereas POPPY is permanently occupied by the owners or their representatives.

Bon Courage, Avilly, is located in PIERRES, which is situated in Southern Calvados (in the heart of rural Normandy). The closest large town is VIRE at approximately 8 miles and VASSY is the nearest village at about 3 miles.
